About Robin Arnold

Robin Arnold is the Logistics Manager for American Soda LLC., with operational responsibility for all modes of domestic transportation, including managing a fleet of more than 3,000 cars and over 20 transload terminals.  American Soda is the North American Soda Ash and Derivatives business unit for Solvay.

Robin has been in the rail industry since 2000, and prior to working for Solvay, started her rail career at Strategic Materials, Inc. where she was responsible for both operational and commercial responsibilities for rail and transload.

Robin graduated from the University of Houston Downtown with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, and obtained her Masters of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University in 2020.  Robin has served on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Association of Rail Shippers since 2016, and was named SWARS Person of the Year for 2022.  She and her husband, Brian, have three children, eight grandchildren, and enjoy travel and spending time with their family.
